Not Working!

Since Colson is almost two and a half and potty training looms around the corner, we're pretty open about bathroom stuff. Today, Colson was playing and I let him know that Mommy needed to go poop. He said, "Go poop with Mommy?" I said, "Sure!" thinking hey, maybe he actually needs to go now, too. So he followed me into the bathroom, and after I sat down, he squatted next to me and started grunting. Then after a few seconds, my red-faced boy shouted, "POOP NOT WORKING!" Through my laughter, I tried to explain that maybe he didn't need to go yet, and maybe his poop just wasn't ready to come out.
