This Is Why I Teach

I subbed today at a CUSD preschool. The teachers were talking about planets, and at one of the stations the children were told to draw their favorite planet. One girl was drawing for awhile, and when she finally finished, the teacher asked her, "Which planet did you draw? Which is your favorite? To which the four-year-old thought, then replied, "Animal Planet. " Priceless!
