Today was our first zoo trip of the year, and who better to share it with than one of our best friends? Ava and her mommy (it was actually her idea) joined us for some animal sightings! It was extremely crowded; who knew the Chaffee Zoo was such a hot spot? Apparently every school in Fresno and the surrounding area, that's who knew. We still had a great time once we found parking.
They both said "hi" and waved to the elephants.
Mommy pumped beforehand, as the thought of nursing a baby while walking around the zoo sounded wrong on so many levels.

Glad you had such a good time...and good weather!
Yay!! We had so much fun. It really wasn't all that crowded considering the number of buses in front. I am so relieved to know that we do indeed exist :)
